His actions led to his posthumous recognition with the Param Vir Chakra.

The actor revealed that he would begin preparations for the role by March-end, with an intense 20-day shooting schedule planned. The film’s talkie portions will be shot at the Bombay Flying Club in Juhu, while wide-angle shots will be filmed in Kashmir, where the Folland Gnat fighter aircraft replicas will be used to recreate historical scenes.
