Shiv Mandir Atlanta invites you to the Vasanta Navaratri Celebrations 2025, a sacred nine-day festival dedicated to Maa Durga and her nine divine manifestations. This auspicious occasion, observed during the Chaitra month, marks the beginning of the Hindu New Year and is a time of intense devotion, prayer, and spiritual renewal.

💐 Daily Pujas & Aartis
- Experience the divinity of morning and evening aartis performed with Vedic chants and offerings.
- Seek blessings through the special Durga Puja conducted daily to honor the Goddess in her various forms.
📖 Durga Saptashati Path & Katha
- Participate in the sacred recitation of Durga Saptashati, a powerful scripture narrating the glories of Goddess Durga.
- Attend spiritual discourses explaining the meaning and significance of the Devi Mahatmya.
🪔 Bhajans & Kirtan Nights
- Immerse yourself in devotion with melodious bhajans and kirtans praising Maa Durga.
- Special devotional music evenings featuring renowned artists and temple singers.
🌸 Kanya Pujan & Devi Bhoj (April 6th, 2025)
- A significant ritual honoring young girls as the manifestation of Goddess Durga.
- Special offerings and blessings for the girls, followed by a grand feast (Bhandara) for all devotees.
🍛 Navaratri Fasting & Prasadam
- Devotees observing the Navaratri fast can partake in specially prepared Satvik meals at the temple.
- Daily distribution of prasadam blessed by the Goddess.
🙏 Maha Havan & Grand Visarjan Ceremony (April 6th, 2025)
- The festival concludes with a grand havan (sacred fire ritual) for divine blessings and spiritual purification.
- Final prayers and Visarjan (immersion) of Goddess Durga’s idol, marking the end of the Navaratri celebrations.
