Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan fulfilled his commitment by visiting Ippatam village in Guntur district to meet an elderly woman, Indla Nageswaramma, as he had promised three years ago. Nageswaramma warmly welcomed the Jana Sena Party leader, who announced financial aid of Rs 50,000 for her and Rs 1 lakh for her grandson’s education.
During his visit, Pawan Kalyan assured Nageswaramma of a monthly assistance of Rs 5,000 from his own salary. The visit was in response to allegations that the elderly woman’s house was demolished by the previous government due to her support for Jana Sena during a public meeting.
Pawan Kalyan, who now holds office after the 2024 elections, reiterated his commitment to the villagers affected by the house demolitions. He emphasized the importance of keeping promises and stood by his word to support Nageswaramma and her family.
