Crew’ box office Day 3: Film Earns Rs 30 Crore

The film ‘Crew’, featuring Tabu, Kareena Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon, garnered significant attention with its impressive performance at the box office during its opening weekend. Within just three days of its release, the film amassed over Rs 30 crore in domestic box office earnings. Early estimates suggest that the heist-themed movie, spearheaded by the trio of actresses, achieved a net revenue exceeding Rs 10 crore in India. Both critics and audiences responded positively to ‘Crew’, elevating its status as one of the most eagerly awaited films of recent times, largely due to the stellar performances of its lead cast.

Notably, ‘Crew’ secured the third-highest opening of 2024 for a Bollywood production, following behind ‘Fighter’ and ‘Shaitaan’. On March 31, the film’s net earnings at the domestic box office are estimated at Rs 10.25 crore, marking the highest single-day collection for ‘Crew’ in India since its release.

Premiering in theatres on March 29 amidst considerable fanfare, ‘Crew’ has amassed a cumulative net box office collection of Rs 29.25 crore in India over the span of three days. Additionally, the film maintained a noteworthy occupancy rate of 29.93% on March 31 across Indian cinemas.

Directed by Rajesh A Krishnan, ‘Crew’ is a comedic heist film that features Tabu, Kareena Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon in leading roles, with Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma in supporting roles. Nidhi Mehra and Mehul Suri are credited as the writers of the film.

Produced jointly by Balaji Motion Pictures and Anil Kapoor Films & Communication Network, ‘Crew’ is poised to be a lucrative venture for all involved parties, including producers and distributors, as it continues its successful run in cinemas.
