In a groundbreaking move poised to redefine emergency medical services in India, Chennai-based startup ePlane Company has entered into a monumental agreement to supply 788 electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) air ambulances. Valued at over $1 billion, this partnership with the International Critical-Care Air Transfer Team (ICATT) aims to establish the nation’s largest air ambulance network, significantly enhancing the speed and efficiency of medical responses across all districts.
