Azar expressed support for the US-sponsored 20-point plan for Gaza, seeing it as a crucial diplomatic solution to the challenges in the region. He highlighted Israel’s efforts in demilitarizing Hamas and the importance of diplomatic demilitarization to facilitate Gaza’s reconstruction. Azar stressed the need for continued pressure on Hamas to ensure stability in the region.
Regarding Iran, Azar emphasized the necessity of dismantling Iran’s military nuclear program, ballistic missile program, and support for terrorist organizations targeting Israel. He underscored Israel’s stance on demanding the dismantling of Iran’s capabilities aimed at threatening Israel’s existence, emphasizing the need for diplomatic resolutions over military actions.
