A devastating fire erupted at a firecracker manufacturing facility in Jaipur’s Kho Nagorian area, resulting in the loss of eight lives and causing severe injuries to several individuals. The blaze, which spread rapidly, caught the workers off guard, leaving them with little time to react or escape. The incident led to a series of powerful explosions due to the presence of large quantities of gunpowder and finished firecrackers on the premises.
Thick black smoke enveloped the vicinity as emergency responders, including police teams, ambulances, and fire brigade personnel, rushed to the scene to tackle the challenging rescue operations. The flames trapped numerous workers inside the building, prompting authorities to break down parts of the factory’s rear wall for ventilation and access, facilitating the evacuation of those in distress.
The tragic event resulted in the death of eight individuals, with three losing their lives on-site and five succumbing to severe burn injuries during treatment at nearby hospitals. The victims, including Mohammad Ashraf, Mohammad Rabbil, Abdul Wahid, Sameer Khan, Bilal, Aajim, and Nasir Khan, were mostly residents of local areas surrounding Kho Nagorian. Firefighters from Jaipur Municipal Corporation and the main fire station battled the flames relentlessly, eventually gaining control after hours of effort.
