Patel Takes the Crown at Miss India Worldwide, Honored to Represent Heritage
Dhruvi Patel, a student of Computer Information Systems at Quinnipiac University in the USA, recently won the prestigious title of Miss India Worldwide 2024. The event, held in Edison, New Jersey, is the longest-running Indian beauty pageant outside India. Dhruvi expressed immense pride in representing her heritage and values, highlighting that the crown symbolizes more than just beauty—it’s an opportunity to inspire others globally. Along with her studies, Dhruvi runs a non-profit and actively participates in local volunteer efforts.
In this pageant, Lisa Abdoelhak from Suriname and Malvika Sharma from the Netherlands were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. In the Mrs. category, SuAnn Mouttet of Trinidad and Tobago took the crown, and Sierra Suret from Guadeloupe was named Miss Teen India Worldwide.
The Miss India Worldwide pageant, now in its 31st year, is organized by the India Festival Committee and is a prominent platform for the global Indian diaspora to celebrate talent and culture.
