The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, led by Tika Ram Jully, the Leader of the Opposition, has commenced an eight-day study tour from Jaipur. The tour, lasting until June 16, is aimed at observing administrative practices and engaging with similar committees in Leh-Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, and Haryana.
Accompanying Chairman Tika Ram Jully are committee members Suresh Dhakad, Arjun Lal Jingar, Anita Baghel, Chandrabhan Singh Chauhan, and Vishwanath Meghwal. The committee will spend time in Leh from June 8 to June 10, focusing on local innovations and development initiatives, including a meeting with the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh.
Subsequently, the committee will proceed to Jammu & Kashmir for study meetings on June 11 and 12, followed by a visit to the Vaishno Devi shrine on June 13. The itinerary includes stops in Amritsar on June 14 and Chandigarh on June 15 for discussions with the Public Accounts Committees and legislative representatives of Punjab and Haryana, before returning to Jaipur on June 16.
