Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy honored Koduru Anuroop Reddy, who tragically lost his life while rescuing three friends in the United States. The Chief Minister expressed deep sorrow over the incident, describing it as heartbreaking. He extended heartfelt condolences to Anuroop’s family and assured them of the government’s support during this difficult time.
Anuroop, aged 23, bravely saved his friends from drowning at Toro Bayou Park in Louisiana on May 29. Despite the successful rescue, he lost his life in the process, leaving everyone shocked. The Chief Minister praised Anuroop’s courage, selflessness, and valor, highlighting him as an inspiration for all.
Telangana’s CM emphasized Anuroop’s act of supreme sacrifice as a reflection of human compassion and bravery. He lauded the values of compassion and courage displayed by Anuroop, stating that they signify the highest form of sacrifice. MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy, following the Chief Minister’s directives, visited Anuroop’s family to pay respects and offer support.
Anuroop, a resident of Abdullapurmet near Hyderabad, had recently completed his master’s degree in Computer Science at the University of North Texas (UNT).
