Union Minister Piyush Goyal criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his recent remarks suggesting that the Modi government would fall within a year due to economic discontent. Goyal accused opposition parties of trying to create instability in India by spreading a coordinated narrative against the government.
Goyal, in a social media post, alleged that Rahul Gandhi and the opposition were plotting to destabilize the country. He emphasized that the Congress’s intentions were to incite violence and create chaos nationwide, as they failed to defeat the BJP democratically.
Responding to Rahul Gandhi’s comments, Goyal highlighted the opposition’s alleged hatred towards India and their efforts to tarnish the nation’s image internationally. He expressed confidence in the public’s awareness of the opposition’s agenda and their commitment to thwart any attempts to disrupt India’s peace and progress.
BJP MP Sambit Patra also condemned Rahul Gandhi’s statement, recalling past provocative remarks made by the Congress leader. Patra criticized Gandhi for predicting the fall of the Modi government and highlighted the Prime Minister’s calm response to such rhetoric in the past.
Congress leader Imran Masood, during the same meeting, discussed the party’s strategy to engage with the Muslim community and underscore their contributions, signaling a shift in the political narrative ahead of upcoming elections.
