Uttar Pradesh PD (UPDACA) clinched the national title by defeating Mumbai in a thrilling final of the 5th Elite National Divyang T-20 Cricket Championship 2026. The tournament, hosted by the Karnataka State Divyang Cricket Association (KSDCA), saw Mumbai setting a target of 172 runs, with Uttar Pradesh successfully chasing it down to win by 4 wickets.

In the final match, Mumbai scored 171/7 in 20 overs, led by Ravindra Sante’s unbeaten 71 runs and Vikrant Keni’s 54 runs. Uttar Pradesh’s Mo. Sadik shone with the ball, taking 2 wickets for 24 runs. In response, Uttar Pradesh’s Rahul Singh’s quick 31 runs, Vintoo Yadav’s 35 runs, and Deependra Singh’s unbeaten 54 runs secured the victory at 173/6 in 18.5 overs.

Uttar Pradesh’s triumph solidified their position as a formidable team in national divyang cricket, showcasing exceptional skills and a winning spirit. The championship also recognized young talent, with players under 15 years receiving awards and all participating teams being honored for their efforts.

DCCI General Secretary Ravi Chauhan praised the players’ dedication and the role of such championships in fostering inclusive sports in India. KSDCA president Hemachandra was lauded for successfully organizing the tournament, ensuring a smooth and professional event that received positive feedback from players, officials, and spectators.
