Activity Description:

• Dive into the world of art with our 8-week youth art program, where young creators aged 7 through the teenage years explore the realms of realistic pencil drawing and oil painting.
• The workshop kicks off with an immersive experience in drawing fundamentals, covering composition, shading techniques, drawing from life, and adding texture with pencils.
• In the latter half of the program, participants venture into the vibrant world of oil painting. Topics include surface preparation, drawing basics, color theory, mixing mediums, brush strokes, and paint application techniques.
• Note that oil painting projects may span multiple sessions due to the intricate nature of the medium.
