About the event
Enhanced Content:
The summer solstice, a time of peak light and spiritual significance, beckons us to pause, reflect, and realign with nature’s rhythms. Join us for a transcendent two-hour sound bath concert at the iconic Ivywild School, commemorating this profound seasonal transition.
- Immerse yourself in the resonant sounds of crystal singing bowls, gongs, flutes, and classical guitar, expertly played by Dr. Gigi Turner, Dave Patrick, and Steve Manzo.
- This harmonious evening promises to lead you into a deep state of restoration and presence, blending musical talent with heartfelt celebration of the summer solstice.
If you can’t make it on the solstice itself, we offer another opportunity to join us on Friday, June 20th, from 7:30 to 9:30 PM at the same serene venue, with the same soul-soothing sounds. Tickets for both events are available on our website.
Meet the Musicians:
- *Dr. Gigi Turner*: A renowned psychologist and founder of Singing Bowls of the Rockies, Dr. Turner merges her expertise in the mind with the healing power of sound, guiding participants through transformative sound journeys.
- *Dave Patrick*: A seasoned classical guitarist, Dave’s musical prowess enriches the sound bath experience, creating a melodic backdrop that enhances relaxation and introspection.
- *Steve Manzo*: A versatile musician drawn to the healing aspects of sound, Steve’s unique musical perspective adds layers of meditative frequencies to each session, crafting immersive auditory landscapes.
What is a Sound Bath?
A sound bath offers a meditative immersion in sound waves produced by instruments like singing bowls, gongs, and chimes. Participants lie down, allowing the resonant sounds to shift their brain waves into a relaxed state, fostering deep rest, self-discovery, and stress relief.
- Our sound baths feature a diverse array of instruments, including crystal singing bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, chimes, flutes, drums, and traditional instruments from around the world.
What to Bring:
For your comfort, please bring a blanket or bedsheet to cover our floor mats (yoga mat not required). Dress in comfortable attire, hydrate, and have a light meal before the session. Timely arrival ensures a harmonious start for all participants.
Details:
- *Cost*: $45 per person
