About the Artist: Stéphane Genay
Diplomado en el Conservatoire Supérieur de Musique de Lyon, Stéphane Genay’s musical journey includes being selected by the Orchestre Français des Jeunes. With a rich background performing with orchestras like L’orchestre de Nancy, l’Orchestre de l’Opéra de Lyon, and l’Orchestre du Capitole de Toulouse, he has also been the principal cellist of the Orquesta de la Academia del Festival de Sion and the Conjunto Contemporáneo de Lyon, among others.
Throughout his career, Stéphane has collaborated with renowned musicians such as Mistislav Rostropovich, Tibor Varga, Gauthier Capucon, and more, offering a unique musical experience with an international touch in an intimate setting at La sala Mayko.
