Museum of the Moon by Luke Jerram
The *Museum of the Moon* is a traveling art installation created by the UK artist *Luke Jerram*. This magnificent artwork boasts a sizable diameter of 20 feet and showcases detailed NASA imagery of the lunar surface at 120dpi. With each centimeter on this internally lit spherical sculpture representing 6km of the moon’s surface at an approximate scale of 1:600000, visitors are in for a mesmerizing celestial experience.
The moon will grace the Cathedral nave from *April 11 to May 4*, offering a unique opportunity for all visitors to behold the stark beauty of the lunar surface up close and personal.
Cathedral Yoga Series and Special Events
As part of the *Museum of the Moon* installation, a special *moon-centered evening Cathedral Yoga series* will take place on select dates:
- Tuesday, April 15
- Friday, April 18
- Tuesday, April 22 at 7 pm
- A unique session on Tuesday, April 29 at 8 pm, following the *Center for Spiritual Imagination’s* contemplative prayer practice.
