Spread across 22 pavilions and 80 historic houses, the museum includes highlights like the royal residence of His Highness Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum Al Maktoum.

Guests can participate in hands-on workshops, live demonstrations, and special weekend events, gaining insight into the significance of traditional clothing, food, perfumes, and performances in Emirati life. Al Shindagha Museum is more than just a cultural showcase—it’s an educational experience that provides diverse programs for all ages, from guided tours to engaging drop-in activities.

The museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., with specialized workshops held on weekends from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Children under 5 can enter for free, while discounted tickets are available for those aged 5-16. Al Shindagha Museum is wheelchair accessible and suitable for all visitors, including families with young children and expecting mothers. Photography is permitted for personal use, but commercial photography requires prior approval.
