How it works
- Enter the weight and purity (for example 22K) from the quote.
- Add the gold rate and the making and stone charges the jeweller quoted.
- See the effective making charge, per gram and as a percentage.
- Add a second quote to compare, then share the breakdown with family.
Questions
What if the quote only shows a total price?
The checker removes tax, then the gold, stones and listed charges. What’s left is making plus anything else the jeweller added, shown as an estimate because it can’t be split further.
Does it show the live gold rate?
No. It uses the rate you enter, so check today’s rate on the jeweller’s board or a published source before you compare.
Can I save a quote for later?
Yes. Save the breakdown to come back to it, or share it with family before you decide.
