What to Wear: Navratri Dress Tips for Dandiya Night

If it’s your first time attending a Garba or Dandiya night, dressing up is part of the fun!

For Women:

  • Chaniya Choli: Traditional 3-piece dress with vibrant embroidery, mirror work, or tie-dye prints.
  • Jewelry: Statement earrings, bangles, nose rings, and maang tika to complete the look.
  • Footwear: Comfortable flat sandals or juttis (you’ll be dancing a lot!).

For Men:

  • Kediyu and Dhoti or Kurta-Pyjama: Bright colors with mirror work or embroidery are ideal.
  • Dupatta: A colorful stole adds flair to your look.
  • Shoes: Stick to sneakers or mojaris for ease of movement.

💡 Pro Tip: Bring an extra pair of clothes if you plan to stay long, and keep a bottle of water handy—you’ll need it after all the dancing!

Dandiya Night Tips for First-Time Attendees

  1. Arrive Early: Get good parking and pick your spot near the stage.
  2. Practice a Few Steps: Basic Garba and Dandiya steps are easy to learn. YouTube has tons of beginner-friendly videos.
  3. Follow the Circle Flow: Garba and Dandiya are danced in circles. Watch and follow the rhythm.
  4. Be Social: Don’t be shy—Navratri is about community, and everyone is welcoming.
  5. Respect the Rules: No outside food and beverages, and entry to Zabeel Park is separate from the event ticket.

How to Get There

  • By Car: Drive south on Sheikh Zayed Road (E11), take Exit 48, and follow signs to Zabeel Park.
  • By Taxi: Ask for “Zabeel Park Amphitheatre”—most drivers will know the location.
  • By Metro: Get off at MAX Station (formerly Al Jafliya Metro Station); the park is just a short walk away.

🎟 Tickets & Entry

Please note: Event ticket does not include park entry. You must purchase a separate ticket for Zabeel Park from Dubai Public Parks.

Limited spots available—secure your tickets in advance to avoid last-minute rush.

Let the Beats Begin…

With its beautiful location, electric atmosphere, and cultural richness, Dandiya Night Dubai 2025 is not just an event—it’s an experience that connects the community through dance, devotion, and celebration.

So gather your ghaghras and kediyas, grab your dandiya sticks, and get ready to dance your heart out under the Dubai skyline!
