A Suvidha Camp organized by the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) saw the resolution of 40 public grievances on Saturday. The camp, held at the New Delhi City Centre (NDCC) Convention Centre, addressed issues related to various departments such as Personnel, Civil Engineering, Horticulture, and more. Residents and service users also sought guidance on civic services offered by NDMC.
The camp facilitated direct interaction between citizens and departmental officials, enhancing transparency and efficiency in grievance resolution. Complaints were thoroughly examined, with on-the-spot resolutions provided where possible. For cases needing policy-level intervention, citizens were informed of the process and timelines for resolution.
Over 100 officers and officials from 30 departments were present at the camp to ensure effective service delivery. Dedicated help desks were supervised by department heads, showcasing NDMC’s commitment to responsible governance. The Suvidha Camp offered a single-window platform for grievance redressal, information dissemination, and facilitation for residents and service users within NDMC’s jurisdiction.
NDMC introduced the “Jan Suvidha Portal,” a user-friendly digital platform for lodging complaints, tracking statuses, and providing feedback in real time. This initiative aims to enhance accessibility, efficiency, and transparency in grievance redressal. NDMC also actively monitors and addresses complaints received through social media platforms like X, Facebook, and Instagram, ensuring round-the-clock responsiveness.
