The AAP’s national media incharge, Anurag Dhanda, criticized the BJP, alleging that Haryana has become a “crime state.” He highlighted a recent brutal murder in Jhajjar, where armed assailants shot a financier dead in broad daylight with 14 bullets.
Dhanda questioned the Congress’s silence despite being the main Opposition party in Haryana. He expressed surprise at the Congress’s lack of criticism towards the BJP government in the state, raising concerns about their relationship.
The shooting occurred in Dighal village, Jhajjar district, where a 26-year-old financier, Sahil alias Sonu, was fatally shot while smoking a hookah outside his house. CCTV footage captured the armed assailants involved in the crime.
Upon receiving the news, the police promptly arrived at the scene and launched an investigation. The victim, Sahil, succumbed to his injuries at a hospital in Rohtak. The attackers, arriving in a Scorpio SUV, fired multiple rounds, causing panic in the village.
Video footage revealed the attackers entering the premises and firing at Sahil, leading to his collapse. The assailants quickly fled the scene after the attack, leaving bystanders shocked and alarmed.
