Trinamool Congress general secretary Abhishek Banerjee criticized the BJP during a rally in Barabani near Asansol, accusing their candidate of various wrongdoings. Banerjee stated that voting for the BJP would mean supporting a corrupt government involved with bribery and criminal activities.

Banerjee highlighted the ongoing allegations of Trinamool Congress leaders’ involvement in the coal smuggling scam. He suggested that the BJP is attempting to influence the electoral process in West Bengal due to their potential defeat in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

During another rally in Birbhum district, Banerjee expressed confidence in the Trinamool Congress’s role in forming a new government at the Centre. He assured the audience that the Trinamool Congress would prevent the BJP from returning to power and claimed that the BJP has withheld significant funds from West Bengal.
