Gautam Adani, the Chairman of the Adani Group, recently met with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to highlight the group’s investments in various sectors in the state. Adani expressed pride in contributing to Uttar Pradesh’s development through investments in power, defense, airports, logistics, industrial parks, and data centers. He emphasized the group’s commitment to aiding in the state’s transformation and building a prosperous future.
During his visit to Ayodhya, Gautam Adani, accompanied by his family, visited the Shri Ram Temple to offer prayers and pay respects. Adani described the temple, situated at Lord Ram’s birthplace, as a symbol of faith, devotion, and cultural continuity. His visit, coinciding with Hanuman Jayanti, held personal significance for him, blending personal faith with a broader national narrative.
In 2022, the Adani Group had announced a significant investment of Rs 70,000 crore in Uttar Pradesh during the ‘Uttar Pradesh Investors Summit,’ leading to the creation of thousands of jobs. Additionally, Adani Airports unveiled plans in August 2025 to invest Rs 10,000 crore in expanding and modernizing the Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow. Last year, the Uttar Pradesh Cabinet approved a power purchase agreement between the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited and Adani Power Limited for the supply of 1,600 MW of power over 25 years.
