Adani University played a pivotal role in hosting the IETE West Zone Seminar and IETE Students Forum (ISF) Congress 2026 on the theme ‘Trends and Innovation in Aerospace Electronics’. Leaders from various sectors like space, defense, banking, and academia gathered in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar for this multi-location event organized by the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) based in Delhi.
The event highlighted Adani University’s commitment to technology-focused education and research, contributing significantly to enhancing aerospace and electronics capabilities at a national level. The keynote address was delivered by Ashish Rajvanshi, CEO of Adani Defence & Aerospace, emphasizing the importance of electronics and avionics in nation-building and the vision for a self-reliant India leading to Viksit Bharat 2047.
Professor (Dr) Dhaval Pujara, Provost of Adani University, emphasized the institution’s dedication to innovation-driven education, research excellence, and collaboration in emerging technology fields. The inaugural address was given by Preeti Agrawal, Chairperson of IETE’s Ahmedabad center, followed by a presidential address by Sunil, President of IETE.
The seminar included technical sessions and discussions on aerospace innovation trends and research advancements. Held in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, the event commenced at the Adani University campus in Shantigram, Ahmedabad, with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony. Industry professionals, academics, researchers, and students actively participated, fostering a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange.
Nilesh Desai, Director of the Space Applications Centre, ISRO, attended as the Chief Guest, and Ashish Pandey, Managing Director and CEO of Union Bank of India (UBI), was present as the Guest of Honour.
