Air India Express has launched its first direct international flight from Bengaluru to Abu Dhabi, marking a significant expansion of its network. This new route will connect passengers from 27 destinations, including Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata, to Abu Dhabi via Bengaluru.
Bengaluru, known as India’s IT capital, now hosts over 200 weekly flights with Air India Express, making it the airline’s largest station. The new route will enhance connectivity and convenience for passengers traveling to the UAE.
The flight schedule includes departures from Bengaluru at 15:25 and arrivals in Abu Dhabi at 18:00, with services operating on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Return flights from Abu Dhabi depart at 18:55 and arrive in Bengaluru at 00:40 on the same day.
In addition to this new route, Air India Express already operates direct flights from Abu Dhabi to several Indian cities, including Kannur, Kochi, Kozhikode, Mangaluru, Mumbai, Thiruvananthapuram, and Tiruchirappalli. This initiative ensures seamless one-stop options for travelers from 17 Indian cities to Abu Dhabi.
The launch of the Bengaluru-Abu Dhabi flight is expected to make international travel smoother for passengers from cities such as Ayodhya, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, and Goa. It offers convenient one-stop itineraries and enhances the travel experience for those flying with Air India Express.
