Air India Express has unveiled AIX Connect, India’s first virtual interline platform, enhancing travel options for passengers. This innovative platform allows travelers to book flights with multiple airlines, making long journeys more convenient. The platform currently includes Air India Express and its partner airline, Scoot, a low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines Group.

AIX Connect offers a broader range of booking options, enabling passengers to combine flights from different airlines. This strategic move is aimed at improving connectivity across domestic and international markets. Ankur Garg, Chief Commercial Officer of Air India Express, emphasized the platform’s role in expanding the airline’s network and meeting the growing outbound travel demand from India. Scoot’s Chief Commercial Officer, Calvin Chan, expressed excitement about the partnership, highlighting its benefits for travelers between India and Singapore.
