Air India, India’s global airline, is set to commence non-stop services between Delhi and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, starting 15 September 2024. Utilizing its two-class configured Airbus A320neo aircraft, Air India will operate daily on this new route, enhancing connectivity between India and Malaysia.
This addition will strengthen Air India’s Southeast Asian network and offer a fresh option for travelers between the two countries. The new route also opens up convenient connections for Malaysian travelers to access Air India’s extensive global route network.
Nipun Aggarwal, Chief Commercial & Transformation Officer of Air India, expressed excitement about the new service. “We are happy to support the fast-growing tourism and trade corridor between India and Malaysia with this new daily service,” he stated, emphasizing the route’s role in facilitating one-stop connections for travelers from Europe and North America to Malaysia.
The flight schedule is designed for convenience, with Flight AI384 departing Delhi at 1300 hrs and arriving in Kuala Lumpur at 2100 hrs daily. The return flight, AI385, will leave Kuala Lumpur at 0830 hrs and reach Delhi at 1125 hrs daily, starting from 16 September 2024.
Currently, Air India operates non-stop flights between India and five other Southeast Asian destinations: Singapore, Bangkok and Phuket in Thailand, Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, and Yangon in Myanmar. Bookings for the new Kuala Lumpur flights are now available on Air India’s website and through travel agents worldwide.
