Akhilesh Yadav, the National President of the Samajwadi Party and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, visited Jaipur for a private event where he spoke on cultural, social, and political matters. During a press conference, he highlighted key issues in Uttar Pradesh, including the Shankaracharya controversies. Yadav emphasized the importance of Shankaracharya’s views and criticized fake saints in the state.
Yadav raised concerns about electoral irregularities in Uttar Pradesh, alleging misuse of Form 7 and fake signatures to delete Samajwadi Party supporters’ votes. Despite bringing the matter to the Election Commission’s attention, no action has been taken against those involved in the alleged voter list manipulations. Party workers are closely monitoring the situation to prevent wrongful deletions.
Discussing the film “Dhurandhar 2,” Yadav advised against trusting character portrayals, noting that producers always clarify the fictional nature of stories and characters at the film’s beginning. He questioned the credibility of such characters in cinema and highlighted issues like ganja seizures in Uttar Pradesh, questioning their origins and distribution routes.
Yadav also touched on political alliances, mentioning his past interactions with Nitish Kumar and expressing disappointment in the political trajectory that led to changes in leadership aspirations. He praised the Samajwadi Party’s past achievements, including infrastructure development like the aircraft-capable expressway and initiatives such as laptop distribution for bridging the digital divide.
