On his 44th birthday, superstar Allu Arjun’s upcoming film, previously known as #AA22xA6, has been officially named “Raaka.” The film’s first look was shared by the production banner Sun Pictures, Arjun, and director Atlee on Instagram. The intense close-up image of Arjun’s bald, rugged face, partly covered by a wolf-like claw, exudes a warrior-like vibe.
The caption accompanying the first look announced the title change from #AA22xA6 to “Raaka” and hinted at an extraordinary cinematic experience. This movie marks the first collaboration between Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone. Sun Pictures had previously teased the title poster release date and time on social media.
Allu Arjun’s previous project was “Pushpa 2: The Rule,” directed by Sukumar, serving as a sequel to “Pushpa: The Rise.” The film, featuring a stellar cast including Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, revolves around Pushpa Raj, a former laborer turned red sandalwood smuggler, facing adversaries like SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat.
Director Atlee, known for his successful films like “Theri” and “Mersal,” makes his first collaboration with Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone in “Raaka.”
