Mukesh Ambani, the big boss at Reliance Industries, sits right at the top with a jaw-dropping $116 billion to his name. He’s not just India’s richest but also Asia’s wealthiest individual, ranking ninth globally.

Ambani’s fortune soared by nearly 40%, making him the first Indian to enter the elite $100 billion club.

Gautam Adani, leading the Adani Group, secures the second spot among India’s richest, boasting a cool $84 billion.

And hey, let’s not forget about Savitri Jindal, who’s now India’s richest woman with a hefty $33.5 billion in her pocket, climbing up from last year’s sixth position to fourth this time around.

The 2024 Forbes list introduces 25 new Indian billionaires, featuring names like Naresh Trehan, Ramesh Kunhikannan, and Renuka Jagtiani. Meanwhile, some, like Byju Raveendran and Rohiqa Mistry, didn’t make the cut this year.

Now, who’s leading the global pack? Bernard Arnault and family top the list with a jaw-dropping $233 billion, followed closely by Elon Musk ($195 billion), Jeff Bezos ($194 billion), Mark Zuckerberg ($177 billion), and Larry Ellison ($114 billion).
