Union Home Minister Amit Shah criticized Rahul Gandhi for sharing a provocative slogan supporting Naxalism in the Lok Sabha. Shah accused Gandhi and the Congress of offering ideological backing to Naxalites, citing instances where Gandhi associated with Naxal sympathizers. The Home Minister condemned the Congress for allegedly nurturing Naxalism during its rule, highlighting connections between Congress members and Naxalites.

Shah pointed out various incidents where Congress leaders allegedly supported Naxalites, including interactions with individuals linked to left-wing extremism. He criticized the UPA government for indirectly aiding Naxalites through flagship schemes. Shah emphasized the Modi government’s zero-tolerance stance towards Naxalism, leading to significant weakening of the Maoist network through strategic operations and development projects in tribal regions.

Paying tribute to security personnel who sacrificed their lives in combating Naxalism, Shah expressed confidence in the government’s efforts to eradicate the menace. He called for unity among political parties to support the national mission of eliminating left-wing extremism from India completely.
