The Ministry of Home Affairs has designated Port Blair Seaport in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands as an authorized Integrated Check Post (ICP) for e-visas. During these months, the seas are calm, and the tropical climate is ideal for maritime activities. This period offers optimal conditions for international visitors to explore the islands’ natural beauty and engage in various adventure sports.
The approval of Port Blair as an e-visa entry point follows a comprehensive review by the Ministry of Home Affairs. Local officials, including Prashant Kumar and Devesh Chandra Srivastava, have welcomed the decision, emphasizing its potential to elevate the Andamans on the global tourism stage.
