Noida and Pune Locations Confirmed; Bengaluru and Mumbai in the Pipeline
Apple is significantly expanding its retail presence in India with plans to launch four new stores across key metropolitan areas. Locations in Noida and Pune have already been finalized, with Bengaluru and Mumbai expected to follow soon. The Noida store will be located in the DLF Mall of India, while the Pune outlet is set to open in Kopa Mall—both prime shopping destinations.
These new stores will join Apple’s existing outlets in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex and Delhi’s Select Citywalk Mall, further reinforcing the company’s growing footprint in one of its fastest-growing markets.
Targeting High-Growth Urban Hubs
The choice of Noida and Pune reflects Apple’s strategy to tap into India’s expanding base of tech-savvy consumers. Both cities boast a strong demand for premium gadgets, with thriving urban populations and a growing middle class. The upcoming stores aim to bring the full Apple retail experience—offering not just product sales but personalized support, setup assistance, and workshops.
Apple’s planned stores in Bengaluru and Mumbai are also set to cater to tech hubs and commercial districts, serving both loyal customers and new users entering the Apple ecosystem.
Job Creation and Local Integration
The opening of these stores is expected to generate around 400 direct jobs, with additional opportunities created indirectly through retail operations and services. Apple continues to deepen its local engagement, not just through retail expansion but also by boosting manufacturing capabilities in India.
Currently, Apple assembles a significant portion of its iPhone lineup locally, including the iPhone 16 series, through manufacturing partners. This move supports the Indian government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative and positions the country as a key hub in Apple’s global supply chain.
