The makers of director Harish Durairaj’s upcoming comedy film have unveiled that actor Arul Doss will portray a character named Gopi. Power House Pictures, the production house behind the movie, introduced Doss’s character through social media, describing him as a significant figure in the world of #ConCity. The film, starring Arjun Das and Anna Ben in lead roles, is set to hit theaters soon.
On a previous occasion, the film’s creators had announced that Radha Ravi would play Abdul Razzak, while Shahji Chen was cast as MLA Senthil. Additionally, actor Ramesh Thilak will portray Dr. Subramani, and Thambi Ramaiah will take on the role of Minister Varadharaj in the movie. The characters played by Ponvannan, Sathanand, Rage Esakki, Madhan Dakshinamoorthy, Imman Annachi, and Bharadwaj Rangan have also been revealed by the makers.
The teaser released earlier has generated significant buzz around the film. It features a scene where Arjun Das is threatened by a money lender over the phone. The tension escalates as the lender warns Arjun Das about the consequences of evading payment. However, a twist occurs when Arjun Das discovers a machine that dispenses money, changing his circumstances drastically.
Written and directed by Harish Durairaj, the movie will not only star Arjun Das and Anna Ben but also include Yogi Babu, Vadivukkarasi, Imman Annachi, and Akhilan in key roles. The film boasts music by Sean Roldan, cinematography by Aravind Viswanathan, and editing by Arul Moses A. Production design is handled by Raj Kamal, with costumes by Navaa Rambo Rajkumar, and lyrics by Mohan Rajan. Choreography for dances is by Santhosh, while Action Sandhosh has choreographed the fight sequences.
