Veteran actor Arun Govil is set to portray King Dashrath in Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming “Ramayana.” In response to Dipika Chikhlia’s comments expressing skepticism about his role, Arun stated that everyone is entitled to their own perspective. Dipika, known for her role as Sita in “Ramayan,” had shared her difficulty in picturing Arun in a role other than Ram.
Arun also shared his experience of working with Ranbir Kapoor in the same project. He praised Ranbir’s acting skills and wished him success in his endeavors. The film, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, is being produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios and VFX studio DNEG in collaboration with Yash’s Monster Mind Creations.
In “Ramayana,” Ranbir Kapoor will play Lord Ram, while Sai Pallavi will portray Mata Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman. The movie boasts a talented technical crew, including Oscar-winning composers Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman, as well as renowned stunt directors Guy Norris and Terry Notary.
