The Chief Minister also discussed the upcoming Frontier Highway project, emphasizing the need for public cooperation to ensure its smooth implementation and transparency.
Khandu emphasized a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption, warning against delays or irregularities in project execution that could harm public interests. He underscored the Vibrant Villages Programme’s benefits in improving livelihoods and infrastructure in frontier regions, stressing the importance of coordination between civil administration and security forces for sustainable development. Plans to develop Taksing as a tourism circuit were announced, focusing on its historical and religious significance in Buddhism and efforts to revive pilgrimage activities in consultation with relevant authorities.
