Assam Minister Pijush Hazarika criticized Congress leader Pawan Khera for spreading falsehoods about fake companies and addresses. Hazarika shared a video showcasing how simple it is to register a company online, creating a fictional entity named “Pawan Peda LLC” through a US state’s website. He emphasized that the existence of such companies doesn’t imply wrongdoing, countering Khera’s allegations of misinformation by the Congress party.
Hazarika’s video demonstrated the process of setting up a company online, aiming to debunk claims of suspicious activities. He accused Khera of fabricating details about “fictitious companies” and challenged others to create similar entities to expose the alleged lies. The Minister highlighted that forming a Domestic Limited Liability Company (LLC) with fake names and addresses is straightforward, defending against suspicions raised by Khera’s accusations.
The controversy arose after Khera accused Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s wife of holding multiple passports and owning undisclosed luxury properties in Dubai. Khera also alleged connections to shell companies in the US, leading to legal action against him. Assam Police have initiated investigations, including searches at Khera’s residence, amidst escalating tensions. Khera, who has been untraceable since the accusations, released a video vowing to continue questioning the matter despite intimidation tactics.
