Early polling trends in Assam show moderate voter participation in various constituencies. In Bongaigaon district, Abhayapuri, Srijangram, and Bongaigaon constituency had voter turnouts ranging from 17.8% to 18.75%. In Upper Assam, Demow and Nazira witnessed voter participation around 18.24% to 18.28%. Sivasagar reported a slightly higher turnout at 18.52% during the initial phase of polling.

The electorate consists of approximately 2.50 crore eligible voters, with the Congress and BJP fielding the highest number of candidates at 99 and 90, respectively.
