The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Gujarat is gearing up for the upcoming local self-government elections by emphasizing the reinforcement of its booth-level organization. Senior party leaders recently conducted zonal meetings to strategize for the elections. In Surat, BJP state president Jagdish Vishwakarma highlighted the importance of establishing a robust organizational framework at the grassroots level, extending to individual booths and households.
During the South Zone meeting in Surat, Union Jal Shakti Minister C. R. Paatil, state general secretary Prashant Korat, and state election management committee convener Gordhan Zadafia, along with other district and city-level office-bearers, discussed strategies to ensure widespread awareness of public welfare initiatives undertaken by the BJP-led governments. Vishwakarma emphasized the need for local representatives’ work to reach every household, urging party workers to facilitate this communication.
In Vadodara, a Central Zone meeting chaired by Vishwakarma reiterated the significance of grassroots mobilization. State general secretary Hitendrasinh Chouhan, Jaswantsinh Bhabhor, and other party leaders from various districts and cities participated in the event. Vishwakarma urged continuous public engagement through outreach activities and emphasized the government’s nation-oriented and welfare projects. The party leaders stressed the pivotal role of booth-level workers in establishing a strong organizational structure for the elections.
Both zonal meetings in Surat and Vadodara were part of the BJP’s comprehensive strategy to coordinate organizational efforts across regions in preparation for the local body polls.
