Ahead of the Assam Assembly elections, BJP national president Nitin Nabin has urged party workers to secure over 50% of the total vote share in the state. Nabin emphasized the need for disciplined organizational work and coordination to achieve this target, reflecting the increasing public trust in the party’s governance.
Specifically focusing on Upper Assam, the BJP aims to secure more than 50% of the votes in the region and win all 26 Assembly constituencies across eight districts. Nabin highlighted the significant role Upper Assam plays in the state’s political landscape and praised the region’s support for the BJP’s development policies.
Nabin urged workers to showcase the achievements of BJP-led governments at the Centre and in Assam, emphasizing infrastructure development, welfare schemes, job creation, and peace initiatives. He stressed the importance of booth-level management, voter outreach, and effective communication to strengthen the party’s connection with the electorate.
Senior state leaders and party office-bearers attended the meeting, where discussions focused on election readiness, organizational growth, and strategies to garner voter support. The BJP, in power in Assam since 2016, is gearing up for the elections, banking on its governance track record and organizational prowess.
