Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Spokesperson Tuhin Sinha criticized the Trinamool Congress for mismanagement, blaming the state government for West Bengal’s issues. Sinha’s remarks followed the release of a 35-page ‘white paper’ by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, highlighting 15 years of Trinamool Congress rule in West Bengal.
Sinha described the BJP’s ‘white paper’ as a ‘charge sheet,’ emphasizing the impact of the Trinamool government’s actions on the state. He stated that the people of West Bengal should consider the government ‘guilty’ for its governance over the past 15 years.
According to the BJP document, the failure to provide dearness allowance to approximately 20 lakh state employees and the non-implementation of the Seventh Pay Commission have caused dissatisfaction among the affected individuals. Sinha highlighted the plight of workers who have been underpaid due to the absence of the Seventh Pay Commission’s implementation, leading to significant migration from West Bengal.
