Bollywood actor Tahir Raj Bhasin has started filming designer-filmmaker Vikram Phadnis’ latest project alongside actress Saiyami Kher. He expressed his enthusiasm for this new venture, mentioning that the role challenges him creatively and takes him out of his comfort zone. Tahir shared his excitement about exploring a different aspect of his acting skills through this unique storyline, which deviates from the usual narratives.
Tahir Raj Bhasin recently appeared in “Special Ops 2” as a formidable antagonist, sharing the screen with actors Kay Kay Menon and Karan Tacker. The series revolved around RAW officer Himmat Singh’s efforts to thwart a major cyberattack targeting India’s digital infrastructure. Prior to this, he featured in successful shows like “Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein” and “Sultan of Delhi,” a crime thriller set in 1962 Delhi, based on Arnab Ray’s book.
Having debuted in 2012 with “Kismat Love Paisa Dilli,” Tahir has since showcased his talent in various films including “Mardaani” and “Force 2.” His portrayal of a human trafficking kingpin in “Mardaani” earned him recognition, while his role as an antagonist in “Force 2” opposite John Abraham and Sonakshi Sinha showcased his versatility. Tahir’s work in these films led to his inclusion in Forbes magazine’s prestigious 30 under 30 list in 2017.
Tahir Raj Bhasin also graced the red carpet at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival for Nandita Das’s “Manto,” where he portrayed 1940s Bollywood star Shyam. His recent appearances include films like “Chhichhore,” “‘83’,” and “Looop Lapeta,” showcasing his diverse acting repertoire.
