Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva is set to visit India from February 18-22 at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During his trip, President Lula will participate in the AI Impact Summit in New Delhi on February 19-20. Talks between President Lula and Prime Minister Modi are scheduled for February 21.
President Lula’s visit on February 21 will be the main day of the Brazilian State Visit, featuring bilateral discussions with Prime Minister Modi. Additionally, President Lula will meet with President Droupadi Murmu and other dignitaries, including the Vice-President of India. A delegation of ministers and business representatives will accompany President Lula during his visit to India.
The visit aims to strengthen the India-Brazil partnership through various events and engagements, focusing on areas such as trade, investment, technology, defence, energy, and agriculture. Both leaders have expressed their commitment to enhancing the Strategic Partnership between the two countries and addressing shared challenges through reformed multilateralism.
