Hollywood actor Bryan Cranston recently defended Skyler White, the character played by Anna Gunn in the series ‘Breaking Bad’. Fans criticized Skyler for hindering Walter White’s criminal activities. Cranston, during an interview on ‘Hot Ones Versus’, explained Skyler’s actions, highlighting the challenges she faced. He emphasized that the character received unwarranted backlash despite the circumstances she endured.

‘Breaking Bad’, a renowned TV drama, features Bryan Cranston as Walter White, a teacher turned methamphetamine producer. The show, acclaimed for its storytelling, won 16 Emmys over five seasons. The cast includes Aaron Paul, Dean Norris, Betsy Brandt, and others. Vince Gilligan, the show’s creator, and Anna Gunn, who portrayed Skyler, expressed concern over the audience’s negative perception of the character.

Gilligan and Gunn acknowledged the widespread dislike towards Skyler when the series first aired. They both felt troubled by the unjustified hostility directed at the character. Gilligan praised Gunn’s portrayal of Skyler, highlighting her exceptional performance in the role.
