A burglary at the official residence of Madhya Pradesh government’s senior Minister Vishwas Sarang in Bhopal has caused worry about security in the state capital’s high-security areas. The incident occurred at the Minister’s government bungalow on Link Road in Bhopal, where thieves targeted a storeroom. Despite security personnel present, the culprits managed to enter and exit unnoticed.
Confirming the theft, the Minister’s Public Relations Officer mentioned that the incident happened two days ago but was discovered later when staff noticed a broken lock and missing items. A complaint has been lodged at the TT Nagar police station. Valuable items like medals, mementos, and certificates linked to the Minister’s public life were stolen, raising questions about surveillance and security at VVIP residences.
The delay in detecting the burglary has raised concerns about security protocols at the Minister’s residence, which should have 24/7 security. The breach has sparked discussions on potential security lapses and the efficiency of security measures. Police are investigating the case, reviewing CCTV footage, and considering forensic analysis to identify the thieves and recover the stolen items.
