The Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) has entered into an agreement with Delhi Police to implement nine advanced solutions tailored for modern policing needs in the national capital. These solutions, including a Facial Recognition System (FRS)/FraudPro for suspect identification and crowd monitoring, aim to enhance operational efficiency and security measures for Delhi Police. C-DOT’s SAMVAD platform will enable seamless communication through chats, calls, and data sharing, fostering coordination during routine operations and emergencies.
The collaboration between C-DOT and Delhi Police underscores the commitment to leveraging indigenous technological solutions for public safety and law enforcement. SAMVAD Prime, a secure messaging system, will be deployed among senior officers to ensure confidentiality during critical operations. Additionally, C-DOT’s web-based video conferencing solution, C-DOT Meet, will facilitate briefings and training sessions for enhanced inter-unit coordination.
Moreover, C-DOT’s Mission Critical Services (MCX) platform will provide secure communication channels designed for public safety and emergency operations, enabling real-time coordination during various scenarios. The implementation of the C-DOT Intelligent Attendance System, powered by facial recognition, will streamline attendance recording and access control at key police installations. Furthermore, the C-DOT Cell Broadcast Solution will support targeted dissemination of critical alerts for public advisories and emergency notifications.
On the cybersecurity front, Trinetra ESOC, an AI-powered security operations platform, will monitor endpoints and detect vulnerabilities within Delhi Police’s IT infrastructure. Quantum-based Security Solutions, such as the Compact Encryption Module (CEM) and Quantum Secure Smart Video Phone (QSSVIP), will offer quantum-resilient secure communications for the police force. Trinetra 360 will provide cyber intelligence and digital risk management to safeguard against potential threats.
