The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has approved the release of director Manu Anand’s much-anticipated spy action film ‘Mr X’, featuring Arya, Gautham Karthik, and Manju Warrier in lead roles. Actor Arya, part of the film, shared the news on social media, announcing the film’s imminent release this April. ‘Mr X’ is an action-packed thriller exploring the world of espionage, inspired by real-life incidents, as revealed by the film’s producer Lakshman Kumar in an exclusive interview.
The movie also stars Sarathkumar, Anagha, Athulya, Raiza Wilson, and Kaali Venkat, among others, in significant roles. ‘Mr X’ was extensively shot across various locations in India, with some scenes filmed in Azerbaijan. Director Manu Anand, known for ‘FIR’, helms the project, with music by Dhibu Ninan Thomas and cinematography by Arul Vincent. The film’s first look poster has been unveiled, signaling the commencement of the movie’s promotions.
With editing by Prasanna G K, stunts choreographed by Stunt Silva, and art direction by Indulal Kaveed, ‘Mr X’ promises to be an intriguing cinematic experience. Produced by Vineet Jain and S Lakshman Kumar, with A Venkatesh as co-producer, the film is set to hit screens worldwide this month, offering audiences a thrilling spy narrative.
