Hollywood actor Chris Pratt shared that the bungalow of his character Owen Grady in the 2015 movie, directed by Colin Trevorrow, was wrecked by a fallen tree during consecutive storms in Hawaii. Pratt, while viewing a picture of the location, mentioned receiving news from his friend about the destruction caused by the storm. Jason Momoa also recently disclosed having to evacuate with his family due to severe flooding in Hawaii’s North Shore caused by Kona lows.
The storm in Hawaii led to significant rainfall, amounting to 2 trillion gallons over two weeks, as per a report from the University of Hawaii. The Jurassic Park franchise, originating from Michael Crichton’s novel, revolves around the concept of a dinosaur theme park gone wrong. The series, which began in 1990 with the film adaptation of Jurassic Park, has seen several successful sequels and spin-offs over the years.
In 2015, a new trilogy under the title Jurassic World commenced with the release of the fourth film in the series. This installment was followed by more sequels, including Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and Jurassic World Dominion. A subsequent film, Jurassic World Rebirth, set after the original trilogy, hit theaters in 2025.
