Award-winning actor Christian Bale, known for his role as Frankenstein’s monster in The Bride!, admitted he has a list of movies he still needs to see. Bale, 52, mentioned he is yet to watch Jacob Elordi’s portrayal of the same character in Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein, which he has heard great things about. Additionally, he expressed the need to catch his co-star Jessie Buckley’s performance as Agnes Hathaway in Hamnet, for which she received accolades at the 2026 Actor Awards and BAFTAs.

Bale, acknowledging his limited movie-watching habits, shared his admiration for Elordi’s work and Buckley’s talent. Despite being unfamiliar with some of their performances, Bale praised Buckley as “incredible” and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work alongside her. On the other hand, Buckley, appreciative of Bale’s acting prowess, lauded his performances in films like The Fighter and The Machinist, emphasizing his consistent excellence on screen.

In a candid moment, Bale cautioned fans against meeting him in person, citing potential disappointment. The actor, known for his roles in movies like American Psycho, revealed his discomfort with meeting fans and celebrities, preferring to maintain a distance to avoid shattering any idealized perceptions. Bale highlighted the disparity between his on-screen persona and his real self, urging fans to appreciate actors for their craft without expecting them to embody their characters off-screen.
