The Congress party has revealed a fresh set of appointments within its social media team in various states. These appointments include chairpersons, co-chairpersons, and coordinators. The appointments were approved by the Congress president with immediate effect, as per a communication by AICC General Secretary K.C. Venugopal.
In Uttar Pradesh, Shalini Singh has been designated as the chairperson of the Social Media Department. Meanwhile, Gurjot Singh Dhindsa has been appointed chairperson in Punjab, and Biswajit Mohanty in Odisha. Haryana will see Kiran Sonika Dhooma as chairperson and Puneet Yadav as co-chairperson, along with four coordinators for the state.
In Maharashtra, Hrishikesh S. Patil has been named chairperson of the social media unit. The state will also have a team of coordinators, including Adv. Abdulqadir Shabbir Ahmed Maiti, Shrikant Kamlakar Murale, Amit Chandrakant Kamble, Dnyaneshwar Shankar Chavan, Divika S. Uthad, Pankaj Shobha Dalvi, Shlokanand Sadanand Dange, Arun Lonare, and Vijayanand Anand Pol.
These appointments are part of the party’s efforts to strengthen its social media presence at the state level. The Congress has been making similar changes in recent months to enhance coordination and improve its digital outreach.
The Congress also approved the formation of the Political Affairs Committee (PAC) for its Himachal Pradesh unit. This move aims to streamline decision-making within the state by bringing in senior leaders, ministers, and organizational figures to advise on strategy, coordinate between the government and party, and address key political issues.
